Course mentoring emphasises a holistic, spiritual approach to problem-solving and encouraging you to see beyond the material world and tap into deeper, spiritual truths. It includes: |
Shifting Perspectives: the Course teaches that our external experiences are reflections of our inner state; changing how you perceive situations, focusing on love and forgiveness rather than fear or judgment.
Practicing Forgiveness: Central to the Course is the idea that forgiveness is a path to healing and peace; releasing grievances, letting go of past hurts and seeing others through the lens of compassion and understanding.
Releasing the Ego: the Course distinguishes between the ego (the part of the mind rooted in fear and separation) and the true Self (rooted in love and unity). Identify and dissolve ego-based thinking, allowing you to connect more deeply with your higher self.
Cultivating Inner Peace: the Course is about returning to a state of inner peace through spiritual understanding; practicing meditation, mindfulness and other spiritual exercises to maintain a sense of calm and purpose.
Living Authentically: By aligning with the principles of the Course, you are guided to live a life that reflects your true purpose and essence, rather than following societal or ego-driven expectations and norms.

Psychotherapy is the only form of therapy there is. ²Since only the mind can be sick, only the mind can be healed. ³Only the mind is in need of healing. (ACIM, P-in.1:1-3)
